After much inner debate (and outer expositon) over my “creative vision” for the game I have come to the realisation that a story is only as good as the hero; and the hero should really be an individual or small group that the player can either directly identify with or at the very least imbue with their own personality.
To this end, DISCORDIAN TALES now has a protagonist. A character that the player can make their own, shaping the world around them by the choices they make. A canvas, if you will, onto which the player will be able to impart their own personality.
More on this in the days to come; but it’s already making for some very changes to the flow of the game that can only make for a better and more enjoyable experience… I hope!
