The weekend has been and gone and the game has seen much further development, starting with a rethink of the world map to include the “known” territories and a few disputed lands for further expansion. Flags have also been created for the various nations along with a summary of the local environment to add further to the immersion of each location.
Final character designs have also been completed; including several changes to the lineup such as a swap of the test protagonist and the expansion of the original party of 3 to the full 26 planned characters. Undoubtedly more tweaks to be made as their backstories develop, but I’m generally happy with the crew as they stand.
A host of other cleanup and improvement work has been completed too; from the implementation of an ingame journal system, initial android deployment testing, expanded scene-specific music selections, and general tweaks to the combat system.
